In order to keep a record of my movie collection I prefer to create ISO images and burn them to DVDs. It's a safe way to store these files in case my computer crashes. One program that proved to be of good use in this situation is ISO Workshop.
An aspect that I considered to be quite annoying during this program's installation was that it offered to download and install unnecessary tools. So, be careful when configuring the installation options if you wish to keep your browser settings as they are.
This application let me create ISO files containing my films, brought me an ISO burner and a converter, allowed me to back up the files from my CDs/DVDs and extract documents from ISO images. Practically, this program gave me access to all the ISO image tools I could think of and the results were more than satisfactory.
One of the most noticeable advantages that the newest version of ISO Workshop offers is that the burning process has been improved. This means that not only will the program be able to burn at a higher speed, but also that the chance of burning errors to occur has been further diminished.
A small but visible disadvantage of using this program is that it supports a small amount of output formats for the conversion process (ISO and BIN).
Personally, I could easily ignore this drawback as all the integrated tools delivered the results I needed in just a few moments and I didn't have to pay a single buck to use the program. Therefore, I fully recommend that you give ISO Workshop a try.
